Non Toxic Paint for Wood and Metal (Interior and Exterior)

Natural linseed oil based white gloss top coat.  A glossy paint for interior and exterior wood and metal with a natural citrus fragrance from the orange oil solvent.

High coverage and easy to use. UV and weather resistant.  Certified as suitable for use on toys.

Can be applied by brush, roller or spray.

Drying time: Dust dry after approx 10 hours. Recoatable after approx 24-48 hours. Final hardness achieved after approx 4-6 weeks.
Approx coverage: 0.75 Litre = 8m², 2.5 Litre = 25m²,

  • Colophony glycerol ester with organic acids
  • Drying agents (cobalt-free)
  • Sunflower oil
  • Castor oil
  • Fatty acids
  • Lecithin
  • Silica
  • Swelling clays
  • Alcohol

Further Information:

This solvent based trim and cladding paint has a VOC level of approximately 260g/l which is less than the EU allowable limit for this type of product (300g/l). We recommend that you keep the working area well ventilated during use and until any smells dissipate.

Natural products are neither odourless nor emission-free. The use of organic, natural and plant based ingredients means that allergy and asthma sufferers and people who are chemically sensitive are much more able to tolerate Auro products, however they may cause allergic reactions in some. Application

See the 935 Technical Datasheet for full details, however in brief:

  • Make sure the substrate surface is clean and sound.
  • Prime wood with one coat of Auro 117 Special Woods Primer
  • Prime metal with Auro 234 Metal Primer
  • Sand in between coats. Remove dust.
  • Apply 2 coats of Auro 935.
  • Sand in between coats. Remove dust.
  • After applying all coats, treat with care until final hardness is achieved.

Maintenance and Care

  • Either clean surfaces with lukewarm water or use Auro 435 Natural Sugar Soap.
  • Do not use any caustic substances (e.g. ammonium solutions, soapy water) or abrasive cleaning agents or microfibre cloth.
