2. Books. We love a good book and one that educates even better. Our book starts at £5.00 and are mainly about sustainable building or methods. The book pictured above “Old Knobbley the Oak Tree” is an exception to that. It is a children’s picture book detailing the life of an 800 year old tree growing in Essex (£7.99).

3. Flamers – natural firelighters. These fire starters are made from wood shavings dipped in candle wax. You only need one to light a fire. So easy to use to light fires. Available in boxes of 50 at £5.99 per box.

4. Leaf Catcher. Stay with us here… these are perfect for homes where leaves block drains. They are fitted on your downpipe in a position that is easy to maintain. If you have an older relative, or you know someone who doesn’t like using ladders to unblock gutters, this could be their perfect gift. Available in four colours (to match the downpipe). 5. Insulation. With energy prices on the increase. Fixing drafts and insulating should be on everyone’s DIY list. Supersoft insulation made from recycled plastic bottles (pictured) starts at £20 per roll, is non-itch and very easy to use. We sell insulation by the roll so you can purchase the exact quantity you need. Or you could even use left-over pieces to make a door draft excluder!
