Posted by Celtic Sustainables on 3rd Dec 2019
Paper chains are a beautiful addition to your Christmas Decorations. Very easy to make from decorative paper. If you buy zero waste who gives a crap toilet roll (made from 100% recycled paper) you can make the paper chains by reusing the pretty outer paper wrapping. Here is how.
- Buy zero waste toilet paper that comes in a pretty paper wrapping like who gives a crap toilet roll.
- Collect the outer wrapping. Each paper wrapping from this toilet roll from recycled paper brand is approx 415mm x 275mm and perfect for making two strong links in the paper chain.
- Rip the sheet in half long ways.
- Fold each piece into thirds longways and smooth down.
- Glue or Staple the ends together (we used a stapleless staple)
- Link many lengths together until you get the desired paper chain length
- Decorate your office, shop or room!
- Once the celebrations are over, but the paper chains in a good box and store ready for reuse next time.
who gives a crap toilet roll comes in boxes of 48 rolls (pictured), 12 rolls and singularly.
