New Colours from Farrow and Ball for 2018
Posted by Celtic Sustainables on 2nd Oct 2018
We’ve been excited this month for the new colours from Farrow and Ball which were released on the 20th September. It’s been a very exciting time as Farrow and Ball only release new colours every two or three years. They not only release new colours, there is a story behind each colour, its rich pigments and where it got its name from.
It’s nice to see such a vibrant pallet of rich colours ranging from strong pinks and greens. It’s also nice to see that the colour grey is taking some well-deserved time out after being in the spot light for so long, allowing other colours to have their time in the spot light.
The New Colours include; School House White No.291, Treron No.292, Jitney No.293, Paean Black No.294, Sulking Room Pink No.295, Rangwali No.296, Preference Red No.297, Bancha No.298, De Nimes No.299
The Georgian inspired Paean Black is lovely and a very lust worthy colour. School House White is the lightest in the new pallet and will compliment contemporary neutral groups. A colour like no other Rangwali No. 296 is an exotic and adventurous pink and can be pared with stone blue and down pipe. De Nimes No.299 inspired nu everyday workwear in the French city of Nimes, a very calming fashionable blue that will come into its own when paired with other colours like blazer and down pipe. The new colours will be the same great quality that you have come used to with Farrow and Ball paints, they will be 100% Water based and with their low VOC content and low odour making them easy to apply.
