Our Eco-friendly Eggshell Paint for wood is an interior wood paint that is free from chemical solvents and manufactured with natural raw materials. Because it is water based and totally oil free, it is non-yellowing and there are no unpleasant smells or emissions. Best of all it is flexible and breathable – so it cares for your wood for longer. Plus it looks fabulous, and dries very quickly to a classic silk sheen.

Uses Our eggshell paint is suitable for interior wood items like furniture, doors, window frames, shelves, skirting boards and any other smoothed planed wood items you may wish to paint. Not suitable for wood flooring or other heavy duty surfaces. Eggshell No. 17 isn't suitable for any surfaces where the paint will come into sitting water i.e. around bathrooms suites and counter tops. Due to the nature of the paint, Eggshell No. 17 is washable but not scrubbable.
Drying time Touch dry after 1-2 hours. Allow 6-12 hours before applying second coat.
Approx coverage 2.5L: 35m² 750ml: 10.5m²
Actual coverage will depend upon absorbency of the surface and method of application.
For covering bare wood we would recommend priming with the Earthborn Multi Purpose Primer.
