This membrane is utilised to create an airtight seal for interior walls and ceilings, enabling moisture in the air and insulation to escape through its intelligent design. As a hydro safe, airtight, intelligent vapour control membrane, Pro Clima Intello Plus stands out by adjusting its diffusion resistance according to ambient humidity. This adaptability helps minimise condensation risks, thereby preventing structural damage from moisture, mould, rot, and dampness.
Operational Mechanism
Concrete, plaster, or screeds can release high humidity levels during construction. Intello Plus responds by allowing up to 100 times more moisture to escape than membranes with fixed diffusion resistance, accelerating the drying process. This is crucial in preventing condensation and structural damage caused by leaks or moisture transfer from adjoining structures.
Advantages
Intello Plus has three layers: a fleecy backing that minimises friction and prevents tears, an airtight intelligent membrane, and a robust mesh layer that enhances tensile strength and resistance to nail/staple tears. Due to its minimal stretch, this design makes Intello Plus ideal for blown-in (dense-pack) insulation.
Leading bodies, including the British Board of Agreement (BBA), Passive House Institute, and the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), have independently tested and certified the membrane's quality and performance.

Durability and Certification
Pro Clima Intello Plus holds European Technical Approval (ETA) and is the first intelligent airtightness membrane to demonstrate durability according to EN norms. Independent accelerated ageing tests indicate a life expectancy of at least 50 years, a benchmark unmatched by other intelligent membranes.
Warranty Information
Pro Clima offers a limited system warranty, supported by public liability insurance, for all their airtightness systems, roof and wall sealing systems, and construction products. A 10-year warranty is available when these products are correctly installed with approved thermal insulation materials and other Pro Clima system products. A 6-year warranty is provided when combined with products from different manufacturers.
