Keim Royalan Dilution is part of the 2 coat Royalan paint system. It is used in the first coat to dilute Keim Royalan. It can also be used on its own as a binding primer to stabilise highly absorbant substrates creating a strong binding surface for subsequent coats of Keim Royalan exterior paints.

Application
All surfaces must be free from loose, flaking paints and then washed down with cold water to remove dirt and dust.
As a dilution:
Keim Royalan is a two coat system, the first coat should be diluted with 20% (by weight) Keim Royalan Dilution and applied by brush or roller, working well into all surfaces. Leave a minimum of 12 hours before applying the second undiluted coat.
As a pre-treatment primer:
Use one undiluted coat of Keim Royalan Dilution.
Coverage: As a primer, approx. 0.15lt/m2 depending upon the absorbency of the surface.
