Keim Twinstar is an innovative exterior paint that enables the application of base and top coat together, wet-in-wet, with no drying time in between. It also protects from growth of microorganisms – without any added biocides.
Keim Twinstar is not a one coat paint, but a two in one application, you can (and should) apply the paint ‘wet on wet.’ Simply mix and apply the paint undiluted, straight from the bucket to ‘saturate’ the surface, then using the same tub of paint apply another coat, working into the existing wet paint layer.
No drying time needed between steps, and no waiting! It’s two coats in one work step. You can speed up application time with 2 people working together, one person applying the first coat and the second following with the second application.
KEIM Twinstar is water-repellent, highly diffusible, lightfast, UV-stable and extremely weather-resistant. Thanks to the innovative product formulation with specific flow and drying properties, the primer and top coat can be applied very efficiently in one work step without intermediate drying time.
