The Lime Green 660 fibre glass mesh is a high performance, heavy duty glass fibre reinforcement mesh for render which conforms to the ETAG004 guidelines for external Thermal Insulation. The render mesh improves impact resistance and helps to prevent cracking. It is particularly suited to external Wall Insulation when installing the Warmshell system.
The 660 Mesh is optimised in grid size and tear resistance for Lime Green Prepbond WP and similar lime renders.

Application
1. Apply the render Prepbond WP in two passes, the first pass is applied 2/3rd of the overall thickness. A notched trowel may be useful in achieving this.
2. In the first pass while the Prepbond WP is tacky drop the 660 mesh in to it in vertical strips, pushing in carefully with a trowel.
3. Overlap all of the mesh by 10%. A black line in the mesh helps identify the correct overlap.
4. Apply a second pass of the Prepbond WP over the top of 660 Mesh Cloth the same day.
5. Around openings additional diagonal strips are used. Alternative pre formed ones are available (part no. 00159)
6. The 660 Mesh Cloth should be embedded halfway through the undercoat – not at the back nor showing at the surface.
