Loft Ledge is an easy to install shelving system that creates useful storage space between the trusses in your roof space.
Installing the Loft Ledge enables you to use the normally unused space between trusses above your insulation without compacting the insulation. It fits between trusses at 600mm centres. The design of the shelving brackets allows the shelves to to fit any gap between 539mm and 580mm. The bracket design also allows for variations in truss angles and spacing, so will fit most modern roof truss constructions.
The Loft Ledge is manufactured and assembled in the UK from recycled materials. The plastic brackets, chipboard and cardboard box are all manufactured from recycled materials. The chipboard is also FSC certified (Forestry Stewardship Council, UK).
The Loft Ledge comes as a complete loft shelving kit with 2 brackets, a chipboard shelf and four screws. No cutting, no mess and no stress.
Each kit creates one shelf approximately 0.53m x 0.53m (21’’ x 21’’).
The Ledge his designed to store a max of 12Kg per shelf in dry conditions. We recommended that the load is spread evenly across the ledge.
