Oooh, we do love a good news graph!
According to the latest YouGov opinion tracker report, public concern about the environment in the UK is at an all time high. Over a quarter (28%) of people surveyed chose the Environment as one of their most pressing concerns. This puts the Environment third in the list of important issues facing the UK, ranked after Brexit and Health, but just creeping ahead of the Economy.
Will this awareness convert to action? Only time will tell, but maybe it's a great time to talk to friends and family about the small changes they could make to help make living a little more sustainable.
If you know someone that is planning on decorating, building or renovating, we would absolutely love it if you could forward them this email or tell them about us next time you chat - just so that they know there are excellent products available for them their home and the planet.

210 litre water butt with planter
The AquaCan Baby is a 210 litre water butt that has a planter under the lid (with really handy handles for lifting in and out) for you to use if you so desire.
The water butt is reminiscent of a grecian urn planter in shape. The faux rolled clay finish is available in three distinct matt colours - terracotta, dove grey and slate. Made from recyclable PE plastic, this water butt is much lighter and easier to move (when empty) than a terracotta vase of this size!
Each water butt comes with a black tap and child-safe lid.
You can add a water butt stand to your order for just £6!
END OF SEASON SALE - once they are gone they are gone!
RRP £121. Now £53 including free delivery to mainland UK addresses.

Taking Veganuary to the Next Level!

Did you know that even some emulsion paints contain animal products?
Although "eggshell" when referring to paints doesn't mean made of eggshells (it refers to the sheen level being similar to eggshell). It's true, that some decorating paints contain animal products including ingredients like lanolin, beeswax or are even tested on animals (or some of the ingredients are).
It's very difficult to find out whether a paint is vegan and cruelty free as the brands within the paint industry very rarely list all of their ingredients. Don't worry! We have done all the research for you. For a long time now, we have listed all of the vegan paints we sell on our Vegan Paint page. There are over 40 different finishes to choose from!
We will very happily send you free colour cards for the paints that you are interested in.
If you too are doing Veganuary Challenge, Good Luck, keep going, you are almost there :)

CO2 Absorbing Paint!
The EcoSphere (interior wall paint) and BioSphere (exterior wall paint) absorb carbon dioxide as they dry/cure.
4.8kg and 5.5Kg of CO2 is sequestered for each 15L paint tin! The whale mural (pictured below) is calculated to have absorbed approx 30Kg of CO2!
