Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin is suitable for protecting interior wood: wall and ceiling panelling, wooden flooring, furniture and toys. Due to its water repelling qualities, it is also especially well suited to use in wet rooms (kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools etc.).
Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin is particularly suited to the treatment of oil-rich hardwoods such as Meranti, Wenge, Merbau etc.
Preparation
Please ensure this product is applied to bare wood surfaces which are clean & dry. Any scratches and small holes can be filled using the Osmo Wood Filler.
Floors should be sanded to P120 and furniture to no finer than P220 to allow the oil to penetrate.
Application
Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin can be applied by brushing, wiping, dipping, or spraying
Apply evenly along the wood grain with a Natural Bristle Brush or a lint-free cloth (e.g. for furniture).
1st coat: apply thinly. Allow to dry for approx. 30 minutes with good ventilation. Wipe away any excess product. Reapply to unsaturated areas.
2nd coat: apply thinly. Allow to dry for approx. 30 minutes with good ventilation. Wipe away any excess product.
Recommended number of coats: 1 coat for furniture / 2 coats for flooring. When renovating, one coat applied to the clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.
