These polypropylene fibres are a great alternative to animal hair. The fibres are added to lime mortars to add lateral strength.
This reinforcing fibre is quicker and easier to introduce into the mix than traditional hair, simply sprinkle it into the mortar and allow to mix for a few minutes to distribute the fibres.
