Savolit plus wood wool boards offer a fully sustainable alternative to gypsum based plaster boards. Continuous research by the manufacturer has resulted in a 100% recyclable natural panel, made from long, strong woodfibres. The wood strands which are sourced from sustainably managed forests are mineralised and bonded into a strong vapour permeable panel suitable for a interior and exterior use.

The Raw timber used in the manufacture of Savolit Plus comes from sustainably managed forests and holds a PEFC label
Don't forget the washers, its important that stainless screws are used to prevent any corrosion when finish applied. Choose screw length to be at least double the depth of the board.

Simple to Install:
For the best strength and performance, Savolit Plus Wood Wool boards should be installed horizontally in a broken bond pattern. Fix the boards to timber frames with timber screws and Savolit washers.
Finishing the boards:
Savolit Plus Boards are very versatile and will support a wide range of finishes. If however you would like a breathable finish we recommend lime plaster and a breathable paint.
The finishing coat should include a reinforced render mesh which will limit shrinkage as the plaster cures and strengthen the finish to resist movement cracks.
