For high traffic floors and busy areas, Treatex Hardener can be added to Treatex Hardwax Ultra Clear to increase the mechanical resistance of the finished surface.
Mix at a ratio of 1:20. 1 part Hardener to 20 parts Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear.
Treatex Hardener can be used in one or both coats of Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra Clear.
PLEASE NOTE: Adding Treatex Hardener to Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear starts a chemical reaction which can't be stopped, the mixture will set in the tin even with the lid on!
The mixture remains usable for up to three hours, so only mix enough for one coat at a time.
