The new R12 Anti-slip additive from Treatex is designed to be added to Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra (Matt, Satin, Gloss). Designed to increase slip resistance of wooden and cork flooring from R10 to R12.
It is perfect for use on stairs, wet areas, doorways & ramps.
Sizes Available:
- 50g - For use with 1 litre tins
- 125g - For use with 2.5 litre tins
Application
- Apply the first coat of Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra as per those instructions.
- Allow to dry for 3-6 hours.
- Stir tins thoroughly before adding R12 as the Hardwax Oil content can settle in the bottom of the tin.
- Add in the pre-measured container of R12 and again stir thoroughly, continuing to stir during use.
- Apply the second coat of Hardwax Oil clear with R12 additive as per normal instruction.
- Allow to dry for 3-6 hours.
Note: Best to use R12 within the top final coat, but can be used in both coats. It is also worth noting that due to the increased resistance of the coating, the floor surface will be subject to accelerated wear.
