Revitalise the colour of older garden furniture with Treatex Rejuvenator. Treatex Rejuvenator gently lifts dirt and the top most greyed layer of older wood from the surface of the timber, restoring the colour back to its original state.
It can be applied to both hardwood and softwood including decking, fences and garden furniture.
Treatex Rejuvenator is a non-toxic, solvent free cleaning agent, based on natural ingredients including a fatty acid extracted from coconuts and oxalic acid (oxalic acid is found in Rhubarb leaves, Brassicas and Parsley!).
Why do some timbers grey outside in the garden?
Over time, untreated timber turns silvery grey in colour. This is caused by several things including UV rays from the sun bleaching the colour out of the wood. Add in air pollutants and other biological actions taking place and over time your unfinished timber can end up looking grey and tired.

Application
- Treatex Rejuvenator works best when the timber is dry.
- Avoid applying in direct sunlight as this can dry the product out before it can work properly. If this is not an option, lightly dampen the surface with a sprayer and leave for around 10 -15 minutes.
- Apply a liberal coat using a 2 inch or 6 inch brush then leave for a few minutes.
- Lightly mist the surface with water before brushing vigorously with a stiff brush or broom.
- Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all of the product
- Allow to dry for 1- 2 days
- Finish with one of the Treatex Exterior Oils/Anti-Slip Decking Oil.
Insider Tips
- Brushes available.
- If using a pressure washer to rinse the timber, don’t hold the jet too close as this can damage the grain on the surface of the timber.
- Once opened, the Wood Rejuvenator will last for 12 months.
